Anzac Day

Happy ANZAC day my lovely room 2ers! 

I hope you're having a lovely holiday and are all staying safe.

Just remember that today is ANZAC day. This day is about remembering the Australian and New Zealand soldiers who fought at Gallipoli in World War One. I've attached a video that some school children made to show why Anzac day is so important.

I miss you all and look forward to seeing you in one week!

What is fetty wap's most successful song

I found 5 of my favourite fetty wap songs out of 23 other ones. then I went on YouTube to find out how much YouTube views that the 5 songs have trap queen had 416,314,422 , 679 had 171,449,586, again had 43,855,500, my way had 27,698,033, jimmy Choo had 10,271,510. Next I made a bar graph I went up by 20 million the highest number was 500 million and at the end trap queen was fetty wap's most successful single .

Pupil of the Term

Congratulations to our lovely William for being Pupil of the Term for term one.
He received this award his excellent attitude towards his learning and classmates. William always has a smile on his face and is incredibly helpful and polite to all members of our class family. He is such a happy Chappy, even though he has a big cast on his arm!

Well done William, you've earned it!!

Basic facts

Today our class proved we are smart by having lots of solutions or just giving it a go. Our teacher Miss Varcoe was proud because nearly all of the class had a idea or just a good go.when we get 4 small numbers and a big number we use the small ones to create the big number by adding,substracting,multiplying and dividing and that's how these type of basic facts work.

What we are excited about

On Friday ,week10,term 1, Miss Varcoe wrote on the board WHAT WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT? This is because we always need something to look forward to in life. We had lots of different ideas but most people said Life Education and sport trainings!!! All of the board was FULL of excitingness😀!

Dojo Chapter five: Mojo puts it all together (last one)

This chapter starts at the point where the last one finished. Mojo trying to find the biggest challenge he could think of which was going to the moon!!!! But he fails and just quits then when he was sleeping he put it all together. The next day he told Katie to upgrade the rocket and its whole system. We had some great ideas of the moral in the story!!!

Super Room 2ers of the Week

This week Kirstin, Awanya, and Jae-Syn have all done incredibly well. Kirstin received her Principal's Award for her dedication to all areas of her learning as Kirstin works very hard during class and after school to improve. Jae-Syn and Awanya have received virtues for their hard work and perserverance in the class this week. Well done!!

Dojo chapter four:the world of neurons

The world of yet is when Mojo still doesn't believe in  himself and then Katie introduces him to a retired teacher who is also an brain scientist. She tells them that the whole brain is made from these things called neutrons, they also help/make you do every thing. And now Mojo is trying to find the biggest challenge he could think of so he can make his brain and neutrons as strong as they can be.

Super Room 2ers of the Week

Last week Shadiya, Quaid, and Angela were superstars! Shadiya received her Principal's Award for her commitment to writing as she works very hard both at school and at home to get better and better. Quaid and Angela both received virtues for the responsibility they showed in the classroom last week. Well done!!

The rock pool

There are 3 mermaids,four octopuses and five fish.We figured this out by looking at the question and it told it told us that there were eight tails,  38 arms and 24 eyes.  We also knew that there were 12 animals altogether and octopus don't have tails and fish don't have arms.  We found out that there were 5 fish because 5+7=12 and we wanted12 animals.after that we said " yay we finished the question.  It was hard working together again but we managed.
